BT Whole Home wifi - devices connecting without password

Hi,

I've just purchased the Whole Home Wifi 3 disc kit and set it up. All went smoothly. I connected my phone as I was setting up the system - but I have not connected any other devices explicitly yet.

I was expecting that as I switched devices over from the BT Home Hub wifi (which the Whole Home is connected in to) over to Whole Home - I'd need to enter the wireless password.

However, this evening, I can now see that my desktop PC is connected to the new Whole Home disc and _not_ the home hub. At no point have I been asked for a password for this. Is this expected behaviour? I'm just a bit worried that anything will be able to connect to this without password challenge. I haven't changed any settings.

Ah - think I've found it.
Wifi setting from the iphone will have been shared with the iMac via icloud keychain... If I forget the wifi and attempt to reconnect - I'm asked for the password, as expected.
