Disks for Smart Hub 2

Sorry if this is a well discussed question but...

I've got a Smart Hub 2 and for long boring reasons I need to an ethernet output in my home office (Wifi isn't relaible)

A BT engineer told me to get disks as they have an ethernet port on, so I'd bypass the Wifi problem and have full router speed, so all good.

My question is, which disks ? I've read so much about black/white, compatible/non-compatible, it should be simple but it seems now complicated.

So someone just tell me what to buy please lol

As you have the SH2, you can have either black or white, they connect to the hub differently but both types will work.

The best type to use will be determined by the size and, to some extent, the construction of your house.

In that case why bother with wifi discs at all, just use powerline adapters.
