Suddenly Teredo server blocked, can’t access Xbox chat on PC

Suddenly I am unable to access Xbox chat on PC, after checking the connection to the servers it’s claims I’m blocked from the teredo server.

Same thing on my Fiancees laptop.

This has happened out of the blue, can’t see a reason why.

Does anyone know if this is a problem with my router or settings, I have tried every solution from google and nothing clears it.

Hi @daniela1 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're having problems with your connection that must be a real pain.

BT Web Protect has been automatically activated on connections recently and I wonder if that could be blocking access. You can check if it's activated and deactivated by following the steps below.

It's really easy to set up BT Web Protect. Just follow these steps:

Log in to My BT with your BT ID.
Scroll down and click Your Security
Scroll down to BT Web Protect and click Switch OFF BT Web Protect
You'll then receive a confirmation screen and your service will be working within two hours

Similarly, you can turn on BT Web Protect here. You’ll just need to log in.
