You can check in the BT app.

If it’s the latter what make/model is it and does it have its own SSID?

what is the difference in speeds and how are you measuring it?

Looking for suggestions pls...

I'm having intermittent problems with this set up...a device that is right at the back of my relatively small property keeps losing connection to the SH2 router but when I add the wifi extender it's fine...the trouble is the network then gets confused and this causes all devices to run painfully slow...any ideas pls?

Thanks

Ian

Hi

Yes it’s a SH2 extender.

It isn’t the download speed - it’s like the devices slow down once they connect to the extender...when connected to the router they are fine.
