According to the My BT app, I should be able to split my 2.4 and 5 GHz channels to give separate SSIDs. I have selected a fixed channel for each and so have deselected Smart, but they remain as a single SSID. I am using a single disc, does that remove the splitting option?

You can't split the SSIDs on the SH2, no idea why the app thinks you can.

Thanks for the reply, just another example of joined up BT services.

Subsidiary question, what decides which band devices connect to?
