Will Archer AX50 router work with BT.

Hello,

I need to buy Archer AX50, but need to know if this router will work with BT Fibre boardband.

Need the router to work with BT TV.

Can you let me know

Do you mean full fibre to your house, and are connecting it to an Openreach optical modem? If you only have fibre to the cabinet, this will not work, as its only a wireless router.

TP Link devices normally work just fine with BT TV.

I presume that you're referring to the new SmartHub 2 and not the original HomeHub 2.

What is it about the HomeHub/SmartHub that you feel you need to replace it? Looking for any specific functionality?

Hello,

I have the new smart hub 2, first I phoned BT and they checked the line and told me there were some settings on the router that needed to be changed and updated and also changed the channel, but since this was done have the following problems, when watching BT sport channel find that the top of the picture the colour runs then goes back to normal.

Also find that the cable connection is very slow and have replaced the cable.

Also find that the wireless connection is super fast.

Have reboot the router but still have the problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

I Have factory reset the router and so far the problems have not come back.
