    <description>&lt;P&gt;Just plug the switch into any LAN port. The switch will be totally transparent and the hub will have no knowledge of it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Why would you think you need to make it a modem to connect a switch?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;looking at connecting a network switch on to my BT Samrt Hub, without being simple.&amp;nbsp; DO i just connect the network switch into one of the existing ethernet ports on the back of the hub and are there any changed on the Hub software to make it a modem to do this. any help appreciated&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If it just an Ethernet switch to increase the number of ports, you just plug it in. That was why I was confused about your mention of modem mode and reconfiguring a Virgin&amp;nbsp; router.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
