Thanks for the super quick response,

We haven't split the bands on the Home Hub 5 and didn't give the SSID a name, so it looks like, other than switching smart hub off, it should be pretty easy.

Fingers crossed and thanks again.

Evening

Our Home Hub 5 (Type A) has become very noisy and problematic, with multiple WiFi disconnections.

I've bought a new Smart Hub 2 privately and wondered if there was anything I should do before simply disconnecting one and plugging in the other? Any settings worth noting in the Home Hub 5 before switching over?

Thanks for any assistance.

Turn off Smart setup on the SH2.

You can't give the wifi bands separate SSIDs on the SH2 but if you haven't split the bands on the hub 5 it might be easier to change the SSID on the SH2 to match that of the Hub5 rather than change all your devices to a new SSID.
