I've got Halo 3+ on G fast with a single disk to extend the range to the corner of the house where my office is. I get around about 250Mb down when connected to the hub and about 150-200 through the disk. The problem is every few days the speed of the disk drops down to 20-30 Mb or less, the only way I have found to fix the issue is by power cycling the disk and as soon as I do things are back up to speed.

Any ideas why this might be happening and anything I can do to stop it?

I get exactly the same issue myself so I am curious to see if their is a resolution. I have the wifi disc hard wired via an ethernet cable and this issue still occurs. When working ok I get 450 Mbps down but it drops to 10-20 Mbps every so often and I have to reset the disc.

It's actually got even worse today, twice this afternoon has the connection completely dropped out on the disk and I've had to restart it
