Hello!

Soon I will be having my kitchen renovated, my BT router is in the kitchen. Is it safe to turn the router off for 8+ hours at a time while workmen are here? (I have to unplug it as I'm moving sockets and putting heaters in etc etc)

By 'safe' I mean will the Dynamic Line Manager see this downtime as a fault and act accordingly by slowing speeds etc?

Is there ANY other way this will be detrimental to my internet/the router?

Or, is it safe?

I've had many, many, months of problems with internet over the years. Huge problems that took months to ''fix'' or bandaid. So I'm pretty paranoid and worried!

Thanks for any help and information,

kind regards.

Turning off the router for 8 hours at a time will not incur the wrath of DLM. It is multiple short interruptions that cause DLM to take action.
