In network connections I have 2 network adapters. Network 2 has a red cross in it, network 3 is connected. I want to use network 2 and thought if I disabled network 3 this would work, but it hasn't.

If I uninstall network 3, will I then be able to use network 2 or will I be left with no internet?

What type of adapter are network 2 and 3, Ethernet or WiFi , are they both connected. Why do you wish to use one adapter rather than the other?
