    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi guys I have a BT 2 hub I have removed a unused telephone socket which had 2 Cables going to it&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have joined the wires blue to blue, orange to orange etc and now I have no Broadband.Purple flashing light on the hub.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have I blown something.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help much apreciated&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What were you actually trying to achieve?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The incoming openreach wiring needs to be connected to terminals A&amp;amp;B on backplate of master socket. Disconnect any other wiring and connect hub to the broadband socket on master socket and see if hub now goes blue&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I Am just removing a unused telephone socket from from the lounge wall&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we don’t use a land line phone in the house so no need for the sockets&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will try your suggestion in the morning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RichardB&lt;/P&gt;</description>
