Random NXDOMAIN responses constantly on all my devices

I'm getting very frequent but quite random errors with the NXDOMAIN response or DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET.

This occurs for both wired and wireless connections.
The issue is very random and often just refreshing the page allows the page to load correctly.

I'm using a NETGEAR Nighthawk router with the DNS Settings set to Automatic from the ISP.
I'm not using any VPN's.

Also, the issue only started occurring in the few months but is now quite frequent.

Might be worth trying Google or Open DNS settings rather than using BT DNS. One of the key advantages of using a third party router is the ability to use third party DNS servers.

I tried the Google DNS Servers ( 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4 ) yesterday but I still seem to be getting the same issue.
So, I guess it's not related to the BT DNS Servers.

The exact error is: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
