Force a disc to only broadcast 5GHz

I have SH2 and 2 discs. I want to force one of my discs to only boradcast 5GHz because when it bradcasts 2GHz the speeds are appalling. 5GHz is waaaaay faster.

Is there a way of configuring the disc to do this?

No, that is not possible, it will select the band which gives the best connectivity.

That's clearly a problem then, as the "best connection" for me, is the fastest one, and that is over 5GHz, not 2.4.

Even setting my laptop us to "prefer 5GHz" in the NIC settings doesn't force 5GHz.
