BT4600 Ringtone Problem

Hi,

Bit of an odd one to describe.

When selecting a ringtone the preview plays in a 1-2 duh duh pattern. 1-2 pause. 1-2 pause.

My Nan says this is how her phones used to ring (set up a few months ago).

They're now only doing the tone once. 1 - long pause. 1 - long pause.

Does anyone have any advice as to why what is playing doesn't match the preview? How can I fix this to match the old 1-2 pattern?

Hi @Trickster873, welcome to the forum, and thanks for posting. Have a look at the BT 4600 Manual and pages 44, 67, and 70 relate to the ringtone and how to set/change it. Hope this helps.

I'm afraid that doesn't help.

I may not have explained the issue clearly enough. The selected ringtone is playing, but only half of it.

The ringtone is two beats pause. Ring ring, pause. Ring ring, pause.

What we're currently getting is ring, long pause. Ring, long pause. The "back beat" isn't happening.
