Wi-Fi Disk will not pair with BT Smart Hub

I have tried to setup the BT Wi-Fi disk with my BT Smart Hub - Type A.

I have tried normal connection, ethernet and WPS with resetting to factory defaults.

Does this disk work with BT Smart Hub Type A or does anyone have any other ideas.

What colour disk is it?

If its a white one, then it has to be physically connected to the home hub all of the time, so you need more than one to get any advantage.

If its a black one, then that only works with the Smart Hub 2.
