BT 8600 phone

My BT 8600 phones have overnight adopted a continental ring tone despite a reset and Melody 1 being selected - how do I fix this please? Do I need to get an engineer out?

I'm sorry for the problems you're having with your BT8600 handset. An engineer wouldn't be sent out for this type of scenario. Your best bet would be to have a word with product support. You can find their contact details in this ->> User guide <<-

Thank you for your response - I have subsequently found out that my neighbour's telephone has developed the same fault on the same day - must be an external fault.
