Had FTTP installed just before Xmas and all been good. Using supplied BT SH2 with latest firmware.

Connection has been constant since first being installed however this morning a short period of downtime due to the SH2 rebooting itself.

Is there any way to interrogate the log files for the reason why?

Does the attached screenshot make any sense to anyone?

Thanks.

BT can initiate a remote restart whenever it wishes, using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TR-069.

There may have been a change made to the internal configuration, that may have required a reboot to implement it. This does not mean there was a firmware update, as the configuration file is separate, and controls things like BT Wifi enable/disable.

I believe there was a recent change which was related to the upload speed issue, so maybe that was it?

No, its just a "feature" of the home hubs. Possibly done to keep them working at full speed by clearing out the internal memory, who knows.

The solution has already been suggested.

Is this reset every 14 days normal with Smart Hub 2s? Mine doesn't do that, currently up for almost 31 days - not that I'm complaining though!
