I have tried unsuccessfully to set up the external ringing on the base and handset. I have set both to melody 2 which is working fine. The problem is when you call in with an external call, the base and handset ring as if it's an internal call and not an external call. Not the ring ring cadence you expect but a single ring cadence. I have reset the handset but still the same. Does anyone have any ideas please?
