      <title>BT 8610 call volume</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a 'trio' of BT 8610 handsets.&amp;nbsp; The sound volume on calls is always LOUD!&amp;nbsp; I realise it's possible to turn down the volume while on the call, but it would be much more convenient if the default volume was always lower.&amp;nbsp; At the moment, I find I have to pause every call while I turn the volume down.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone know of any way the call volume could be permanently reduced?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I've had a look at the user guide and can't see an option to set the volume of speech for calls. I may have missed it but have a look at the &lt;A href="https://www.bt.com/help/user-guides/phones/landline-phones/cordless-phones-with-answer-machine/bt8610-advanced-call-blocker" target="_self"&gt;Help Page&lt;/A&gt;, and if you can't see it there is a phone number, and link to email the product helpdesk who I'm sure will be able to answer this for you.&lt;/P&gt;
