As from yesterday, I'm a new Fibre 2 customer. I have successfully connected all my 26 LAN devices to my BT Smart Hub 2 and all appear to be working OK. 9 devices are ethernet connected and the remaining 17 devices are wireless.

However, under Smart Hub 2 Manager > Home > Advanced settings > My network > My devices
I see:
Ethernet connections: Devices - 0
BT Smart Hub: Devices - 26
Wireless connections: Devices - 26

Please can anyone explain why all devices are listed as wireless? TIA.

Simple. The BT hub network list is hopeless.

Mine does quite the opposite, showing WiFi devices as ethernet.

Bonkers! 🙂

That is usually because of devices connected via powerline adapter WiFi hot spots.

They wouldn't explain your problem, it would possibly explain @@supertedster problem

As previously stated, the network details are not to be relied on, it has always been a problem with all home hubs that never seems to get resolved.

In my case I suspect it's because, I have "Complete WiFi" disks connected over ethernet. So the "Dumb-Hub 2" sees any devices connected to them as ethernet.

Just as an update to this.
I changed the channel numbers of both WiFi bands. All my devices now show their correct connection methods.
Why rebooting the SM2 doesn't achieve this, beats me?
