Whole Home Speed

Wondering if anyone can help? I have BT whole home the 3disc version and I have 500 mb internet connection, I get 480-530 from the 1st disc but when going to the 2nd and 3rd disc’s this drops by over half to around 200mb! I know this is still fast and I do expect some drop off but over 50% seems maybe a bit too much? Both discs have good/excellent connections

Which model of Whole Home Wi-Fi discs do you have? Mini / Original / Premium?

Also - what signal strength is showing for the 2nd/3rd discs in the app? This will affect what speed you can achieve through these discs.

I have the original one and I my signal strength is good to one satellite and excellent to the other

Are your discs connected to each other wirelessly or do you have a ethernet backhaul?

If connected wirelessly then a halving of speed would be expected.

I only have them setup wirelessly sorry what is ethernet backhaul? I am a total washout with stuff like this

Ethernet backhaul is where each disc is connected to a network via the port on the back of the disc rather than wirelessly to each other.
