Baby monitor link 6000 camera to 2000 parent unit?

Hi there,

Following a sad accident, dropping our parent unit and a resulting broken screen, we now need to replace the parent unit.

I'm unable to find an affordable used 6000 parent unit but have found a 2000 parent unit instead.

I think the 2000 parent unit will meet our needs, but I just need to know that this can be linked with our existing 6000 camera.

Please can anyone confirm this?

It's the £75 upwards cost which means I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative

I just wondered whether you ever got a response to this or tried it? I’ve recently bought a secondhand bt6000 camera from eBay thinking it would work with our current parent unit (it’s a bt smart baby monitor and I thought it was a 6000, so doesn’t work with it), so now trying to find an extra parent unit that doesn’t cost the earth and have come across a cheap 2000 parent unit and wondering whether to buy it!
