BT Mini Connector Kit query

BT supplied me with a BT Mini Connector Kit around the end of 2019 or early 2020. It has performed faultlessly since then until Sunday 8-8-21. Since then the left light, labelled data, has been flashing red and blue (see attached picture). As a result my donwload speed has dropped from 37Mbps to 12Mbps.

In addition there was an Openreach engineer working in the local footway junction box ( hope I got the descroption right) last Friday. This just serves 5 houses in my close. We know from past experience that whenever one line is fixed another goes down. The speed change is very much the same as the reverse for me, so I wonder if the engineer just swapped us over.

Any ideas as to which is the more likely to be the problem please ?

Hi,

I feel sure that I made a longer post on this but it seems to have disappeared. So will try a shorter version.

My Mini Connector has suddenly started flashing res & blue on the left (data) side. Photo attached. My speed has dropped from 37Mbps 12Mbps

Any ideas what might have caused this please ?

I have spent 2.5 days trying get some advice from BT but still no answer.
