Rooted Device Detected - Message on App

I have a BT Smart 5" Video Baby Monitor and having been using the BT app on my mob to connect to the camera for the last month pr so and have had no issues untill tonighy when I came home and tried to connect. All I get now is a message saying Rooted Device Detected and the app wont open. I have uninstall the app and re-installed and still the same message. Any suggestions on how to fix this pls....

Anyone have a fix for this issue? my phone is definitely not rooted but smart controls says it is and won't allow me access.

After a quick scan of the thread linked at the bottom specifically I wonder if having 3rd party installs present or the option enabled would trigger the error?

No third party installs present it has just suddenly started saying that it has detected device is rooted and wint open even though it isn't. Was working with no issue a few days ago and nothing has changed.
