Intermittent Blank screen on all Channels

Hi I am getting a intermittent blank screen on all channels HD and non HD

I have tried rebooting router / tv box, changing tv picture quality and still every so often you hear a click and then screen freezes and then goes blank.

This started on sky channels and has moved to even bbc1 / itv even on none HD channels

I have fibre broadband at 150mbps so no speed problem does do it on demand / netflix etc

Typo error Is does NOT do it on Demand Netflix etc

So if I understand correctly the issue is occuring on live channel viewing using a BT TV Youview box across both Freeview and BT Subcription channels on both HD and SD content.

Which BT TV Youview box model is it ?

If it is a recordabe box does the issue occur on recordings as well as live viewing ?

What TV model is it ?

How frequent is the issue occuring ?

How do you recover from the problem and get normal viewing back ?

I presume you are using an HDMI cable between BT TV Box and TV , have you tried an alternative cable , tried different HDMI ports on the TV ?

How do you recover from the problem and get normal viewing back ? it normally sorts its self out after a minute or press menu sometimes even the menu page is blank

Well after reading the same issue on other sites decided to use a TV adjustable Attenuator and after setting up no more issues 😀
