New Apple TV 4K (2021)

Does the new Apple TV 4K (2021) now properly support 4K/UHD HDR streams?

The BT Sport iOS app did either HDR streaming or 4K/UHD streaming on the previous AppleTV 4K but not both together.

PS Any chance of a BT Sport app for LG TV’s?

An update is being worked on for the new Apple TV now to allow 4k HDR. It'll be available soon.
There's no official statement currently available about LG TVs, other than we're constantly reviewing and increasing the platforms we're available on.

good news about fully supporting the new AppleTV 4K (2021) model, look forward to seeing it soon. As for the LG TV not so urgent in light of the Apple support

For Apple TV, yes - it's been available for a couple of months.
