Xbox App & Chromecast - Same result?

Hello,

On my iPad I can watch Rugby, football, Ufc replays(etc.) in full. But on the Xbox app (I have an LG TV. There is no native BT app for it) I can't. I need to pay extra. Nearly everything is locked. If I had Chromecast would I be able to cast what I can watch on my iPad to my TV? Or would I encounter the same problem that the Xbox app has?

Basically, is watching on a larger screen subscription locked? Do you need to pay much more just to watch on a larger screen? Sorry if this seems obvious. I just want to make sure.

if you only have access to BT sport as it is free with BT Mobile then you can't cast
