We have LG smart tv (purchased last year) and have logged into BT Sport via web browser on it quite happily until about a month or two ago. We are now getting an error message VC089. I have checked settings on television and software is up to date. I have been unable to download a different browser on the television and are now paying for a package we cannot now view. Can anyone advise please.

Thank you

It's possibly something to do with the new copy protection the rights holders have forced BT to add to the content and the browser on the TV not being compatible with them

The browser on LG TVs is old and doesn't support the required features to watch BT Sport.

LG TVs aren't currently supported I'm afraid - you'll need to connect a supported device to it to watch BT Sport.
