Getting an error message when trying to purchase Fury Wilder streaming pass

My son is trying to buy streaming pass for BT BO on his Mac, and getting the following error message. (Nothing wrong with card details)

*** PLEASE NOTE *** There was an error processing your payment. If you are using a credit/debit card, please check that your billing address matches your bank statement. If paying on your EE bill, please try again later. If you need further help with your purchase, please contact customer support.

He’s using “Buy event”, as never used this option b4. Can anyone help. He’s suicidal.

How do you know there is nothing wrong with his card details?

Check for automatically entered trailing spaces on name and address fields for example.

“Automatically entered trailing spaces”? Never come across that. Tried multiple bank cards now and still getting that message.

Is your son in UK with UK address

Yep. Definitely systemic, as we’ve tried our bank details with same result. Also tried the “buy event” and log in with existing streaming pass” options. How bizarre.
