Good evening,

After my bt tv working fine with no issues, suddenly I’m getting this error message on all the channels.

To confirm, I’m connected viv Ethernet, I’ve rebooted the bt router and bt uhd box multiple times, the box is up to date and my broadband speed is 200mps download and 50mps upload.

anyone got any ideas? Thanks

The IPC6023 is normally reporting a connection speed error. Do you have FTTP broadband, if so can you try turning the white Openreach ONT box on and off to see if that helps?

Thanks

Neil asked to try another ethernet cable just so we can eliminate that as the cause of the error.

Also, try the below steps and see if they resolve the fault.
Power cycle the ONT
then restart your Hub
Wait for the broadband light on your Hub to go blue
Restart your TV box, using the power switch on the back
Now check if you still receive the error
If you're watching an HD version of a channel, switch to the standard version.
Let us know how you get on.

Yes all those checks done. The only fix is to restart the FTTP terminal but I’ve never had to do this before and it only seems to have started being a regular issue in the last week. I’m on a 900MB service and everything else I’m the house is working fine, just this nuisance of a TV box it seems to have become.

Switch the box off and then back on again. A red light should appear on the front panel

Press and hold the down arrow button on top of your box for five seconds until you see ‘Enter Maintenance Mode Y/N’ at the bottom of the screen. When you see this, press the standby/power button

After a few seconds you’ll see the ‘Maintenance Mode’ menu. Choose and select Factory reset, keep recordings using the arrow buttons. This option will allow you to keep your recordings, scheduled recordings, and any personal settings you've made to favourites and playlists

Let me know how you get on?

I am having the same issue since having FTTP installed.

Having tried everything on the list and still not getting a resolution I’m out of ideas. The TV box has been factory reset, the ONT has been reset and yet still I always get IPC6023 issue. It’s not even as if I get the issue, reset the ONT and then it works for a period of time. I simply cannot get any picture on IP channels yet apps and other internet services work.

An engineer has also visited my property but still no solutions. Any other ideas out there to fix this?

Pressing and holding the down arrow button on top of your box for five seconds has no effect and YouView starts. Within YouView settings, a factory reset states you will lose all recordings (not acceptable). Thoughts?
