broadband disconnects when using phone

Bought the everyday phone (3 phones) last week from BT and we plugged them in and everything was fine till we

went to use it and broadband cuts out. Tried it around 10 times and each time it disconnects.

Any idea on how to fix it. We need the phone and also the broadband working at the same time, so had to go back to our old phone for the time being. Dont want to have to phone BT up.

are your using filters to connect the phone?

which master do you have

Hi, No. 1 It is a very old one, we have inherited it when we bought the property a couple of months ago.

then you need to use a filter in the socket to connect your broadband and phone you will need a filter in any socket where you connect a phone

Thanks,. We dont have a filter into the main box but a filter on the line. So should i get another filter to plug straight into the box.
