Overseas callers saying they have missed call from me

We have had a spate of international mainlyh Italy and in Italian (and occsasionally uk based) calls saying they are returning my missed call. We do not make any international calls . Anyone out there know why or how to stop them?

This seems very common if your number has been spoofed by a scammer, and used to call other people, or it could be just an excuse that they give, to call you. Do not believe everything they say.

The most effective solution is a call blocking phone, like the BT 4600, which allows you to filter out which calls you want to receive.

BT Call protect may help, but its not 100% effective.
