BT Digital Voice: a better way to keep in touch - Query Free Handset offer

Just been migrated to Digital Voice on our FTTP 900 link. Received letter offering free handset using link bt.com/dvequipment and ordered BT Advanced digital voice handset.

Arrived yesterday and disappointed to receive a non-ALEXA version even though BT service announcement and SEAND Community Manager clearly had advised Digital Voice migrators would get the ALEXA Version.

BT SHOP (where you end up with the bt.com/dvequipment link) say they only have the non-ALEXA version and basically cannot help!

Anyone have suggestions how I can arrange to get the FREE ALEXA version instead of what I was sent?

Did you get anywhere with this? I’m also about to be forcibly upgraded to Digital Voice and I’m unclear what phone I will be sent. The digital voice phones seem to have disappeared from the BT website.
