Phone messages

Hi all - we have digital voice phones (assume Essential ie basic model) and hub. Our old ("normal") phones had a voice message recording function - this function now appears to have disappeared and been replaced with 1571 which we presumably have to pay for.

Since we had "answer machine" phones, will BT provide phones with message answering (not 1571), otherwise we have gone backwards in terms of facilities? Do the Advanced BT Digital Voice phones have conventional message recording?

Hi @Andrew59 The 1571 voice mail function is included with Digital Voice to replace the old answering machine phones. No charge.
