Number ported to VoIP

Hi Guys,

Not sure where to post this but here goes.

Ported my BT number to a VoIP provider and account now closed.

A) Is it possible get my old number back and replace the as yet unused yet BT number they gave me and

B) If possible, is there a charge involve.

Be a real pain if I cannot as it will mean having to advise all my contacts of a new number.

Any help appreciated.

So you no longer have access now to the ported number?

You should be able to ask BT for a renumber, I think there is a £26 charge.

Thanks for the reply, but no thanks to BT if they are going to charge to give me my my old number back.

Ah well. 😉
