I was recently promoted to renew my broadband contract (and landline). Due to some intermittent internet problems I have requested the Wi Fi disc and expert installation. Part of the package includes 1 Alexa phone. I subsequently learned this will lead to migration to DV.

Just before the first lockdown I invested in 5 new landline phones.

Question. Is it possible to delay the switch to DV when the expert arrives next Tuesday?

You can keep using your existing phones, just plug the phones into the phone socket on the back of the BT Smart Hub 2. I assume its DECT phones, so just plug the base unit into that socket.

It may have a sticker over it. Shown in green here.

there are numerous posts like yours and customers just connect your existing base unit to the phone socket on the back of the SH2 as @Keith_Beddoe posted and should work ok
