Digital Voice and ADSL filters

At present all my phones and my hub are connected to phone sockets via ADSL filters. Are these filters still necessary with Digital Voice?

No, the filters are only needed to stop broadband getting into the phones. As the phones are connected to the smart hub 2, that does not apply.

Digital voice doesn't use your phone sockets, the hub is a DECT base station.

I am waiting for my DV service to start tomorrow, but I too have been wondering about the ADSL filter. It will not be necessary with DV. However, the cable from my Smart Hub 2 has the small connector while the wall socket has the old larger one. An adapter will just add more noise to the line, so I am leaving the ADSL in place for now.
