Cant text or use data

Hi anyone have any ideas why i cant text or use data on my phone? I can ring people though which makes no sense

I have loads of data so cant be that and i dont think that would effect me being able to text. I had my number transfered from my old provider yesterday and it was working fine until last night when it suddenly went like this

Can you receive texts?

I still think you should check your MyBT in case there is something to note.

I can recieve texts but cannot send them. I have checked mybt and there is nothing to course this issue on there

Have you tried a soft reset of your phone?

Yes i have but i know its not the phone because i have tryed the sim in my other halfs phone and its exactly the same, cant text or connect to the internet by mobile data

Ah, so the problem may be the SIM itself in which case you would need to contact the helpline.

I wonder whether the actual porting of your number went through OK.

Was hoping you wouldnt say that because i hate phoning helplines
