ID for delivery

I have ordered a mobile with BT. Today when I've checked the order status is states I need photo ID to recieve the handset. My only issue is, the only photo ID I currently have is a citizens card and it's not listed. Is this something the delivery driver will accept?

I think this has been asked before, and the answer was no, as it has to be certified photo.

Its because it involves a binding contract, so the delivery has to be the validated account holder, otherwise it could end up in the wrong hands, and the account holder would be liable.

I think you will find that its the case for any high value item that is supplied under contract, this is to reduce fraud.
