Lost sim help

So I lost my old sim but replaced it with another. Does that mean the old one is of no use anymore or do I have to phone to report it lost?

Hi, @MissBeatty welcome back to the community and thanks for posting. You don't need to do anything else as the lost sim won't work anymore if a replacement has been sent and activated.

The OP does not say she explicitly requested a replacement for a lost SIM. If she had, she wouldn't have asked whether to report the original being lost.

Doesn't a replacement for a lost SIM have the same phone number?

Yeh just asked for a replacement didn’t say it was lost. It was in the house i was pretty sure but now im thinking there’s the small chance it isn’t.
