Roaming outside UK for several months

Is it possible to have with BT mobile roaming when living outside the UK for more than three months?Is there any limit of being outside the Uk? Eg after three months outside the UK some companies terminate the roaming.

Can I Roam Like Home if I live abroad?

Roam Like Home is only available if you live or are usually based in the UK and you mainly use your BT Mobile in the UK. If we think that over a period of at least 4 months you’ve been living or mainly using your BT Mobile in a Roam Like Home country, we may ask you to explain the reasons for this and you might need to pay a surcharge.
