Name on BT app

When I send an email on the BT app the recipient will see my name as John Smith Smith. When I send emails on my laptop my name appears correctly to recipient - John Smith. Spoken to BT often but they can't fix it.

I had this problem too. The BT Email app uses your first/last name from webmail. If it is wrong you will need to log into webmail and go to settings (top right corner) and update your name there.

That appears to have worked. Thank you so much. I've spent many hours over the years with BT trying to sort this out to no avail.
