Sent emails disappearing.

Twice in six weeks, almost all of my Sent emails have disappeared, leaving only a few very recent ones. This is happening on my iPad, android phone and desktop. I noticed that most my Trash emails have been deleted as well, up to the same date.

I am afraid there are numerous people (me included) that have experienced the same problem. BT seem unable/unwilling to recover the emails or explain what has happened. The common theme seems to be SENT Emails/Apple app.

I have escalated the problem in BT as high as I can - It's difficult to know what else we can do!

I've just had the same. Everything in Sent from before Nov 19th have gone and another folder has been emptied completely as well.

This is happening to so many people and everyone has the same response from BT that it is not their fault.

Maybe we should all write to RIP OFF BRITAIN on BBC1to see if they can help? Email address is RipOffBritain@bbc.co.uk
