    <description>Thanks David. BT have performed checks and they’ve diagnosed a fault. However, their earliest appointment is this Thursday. So, will be at least 4 days without broadband. Pretty useless work wise &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pouting_face:"&gt;😡&lt;/span&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My halo router flashing orange.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No hardware, physical changes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All left intact following use of router in morning.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;utilised online checks through bt app. It said need to speak to engineer. However, being new year day, nobody available.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Powered off/on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Reconnected cables.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;bt pretty useless.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI&gt;Do you have FTTP or FTTC?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you tried a factory reset of hub by pressing the recessed button on back and hold 20/30 secs until lights flash.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you checked if you have a dial tone - unless you have digital voice.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You need to phone CS 03301234150&amp;nbsp; and report the problem&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;you cannot speak to openreach engineer direct&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The most basic test is to check for dial tone but you will just have to phone CS 03301234150 and report fault&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Fault fixed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Engineer found a broken copper cable within the feed into my house.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Utilised slack on the cable and re terminated the wiring.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also replaced my internal socket with the new ‘Master Socket 5C’&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
