BT Virus protection

I'm having problems updating to Norton as when I go I get server error like many others. My BTID is not an email but I have tried to change this to an email address but does not seem to accept what I enter. can someone help? tia

Hi @wull1, welcome to the forum, and thanks for your post. Were you able to get your BTID changed to an email address by following the guidance in the link posted by @gg30340?

No I haven't been able to change BTID to email address. I get messages to say I cannot do it despite creating new email address as well.

When I enter email address I get message This Recovery email should not match with BT username.
