Just to clarify, you weren't 'directed' by BT to update to Norton, you were given the opportunity to avail yourself of the free offer if you so wished. It is not compulsory, there are countless free and paid for anti virus applications out there.

As directed by BT I updated my BT Protect and installed the Norton package. However since then we’ve been plagued with problems when trying to access on line financial platforms, several of which have required complete reregistrations. Obviously I cannot prove a definite connection, but wonder if anyone else has had any problems?
