Downloading Norton

Trying to update from McAfee to Norton and keep getting error - unable to download - virus scan error, running on Dell laptop windows 10.

Grateful for any advice to complete the update

Welcome and thank you for your post!

I'm sorry you're seeing that message trying to change to BT Virus Protect powered by Norton. Can you post a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing? (Please do not have any personal info on the image).

Also, please double check your system for McAfee Web Advisor and remove it before trying the install again. Start Menu > Add or remove programs and Uninstall McAfee Web Advisor.

Post back and let me know how you get on with this.

Have removed all McAfee, and still getting the following message when trying to download Norton
