McAfee due to expire?

Hiya, not sure if this is the right board but a place to start!

Hope someone can help, please.

I downloaded and use the McAfee software I got from BT and have been using it for a while, no issues.

It's now popping up telling me it's due to expire on 30/04. Can someone please tell me if I have to pay to extend it or if I will automatically get it extended or do I need to do anything?

McAfee is being replaced by Norton. You should have been informed of this.

Ah okay, thanks, I didn't know. It's after the 31st March expiry date but hopefully I won't get penalised for updating.
