Blocked websites option no longer being blocked

I've added two websites to my blocked website list but the system isn't recognising them as blocked. I then went through the list and other websites that have been added in the past and have previously been blocked are also acessible.

Could someone advise why this is happening and how to fix?

Parental Controls (blocked websites) not working

Have a number of blocked websites and have just discovered none of them are being blocked anymore.

Also double checked parental controls and this isn't working either.

Have performed all the suggestions made by BT but to no avail. Could someone please advise? I don't want to do a factory reset as this will mean losing all my favourites.

Hi @joannasa,

Thank you for posting. I'm sorry if your Parent Controls isn't working. Have you tried the steps on - BT Parental Controls is active but it's not blocking websites/inappropriate content?

Clearing your internet cookies and cache and restarting your hub should help.

Thanks Paddy. I think it was to do with the fact that I'd changed the DNS area due to a problem logging on a few weeks ago (solution found on you tube). I've since refreshed this area and all seems okay now.
